This baby is a stunner!
 
First the base - we took an apple jug and split it half.  The edges were sanded and then polished smooth.
 
Now the lid - made of bamboo, it fits snuggly just inside the lip of the bowl.
The lid is finished with resin artwork in shades of soft blue, and dusky orange and yellow.  The piece is then layered with crisp white lacing, creating a tranquil effect. 
 
The handle for the lid is a natural citrine crystal.
