OOOoolalaaa!
 
First the base - I took an apple jug and split it half.  The edges were sanded and then polished smooth.
I then painted the glass with greens, golds, browns layered with white lacing using acrylic paints to create an abstract piece.  The artwork was then covered with glossy resin for protection and depth.
 
APPROXIMATE Dimensions:
Glass bowl:  5 inches wide, 4.5 inches tall
 
The inside is glass and food safe.
Do not heat  or use food items beyond 150 degrees F.
 
Wash with cool water and mild soap using a soft cloth.  Do not use abbrassives.
